Anatolian tribal and village rugs
Woven in what is modern day Turkey, rugs from this region were made by Turkic as well as Kurdish populations.
Where Iranian village weavings are playful and lovely, Anatolian weavings are profound and powerful. This aesthetic is achieved through the use of archaic motifs, an intuitive color harmony, and incredibly balanced negative/positive space interplay.
